South Korea reported that the blast was caused by the collision of two trains carrying oil and liquefied petroleum. But Anne O'Mahony, regional director of the Irish aid agency Concern, said Pyongyang was now saying the explosion occurred when railcars carrying dynamite touched power lines.사고 원인에 대한 각가지 추측들이 난무한 가운데 북한 당국은 오늘 공식적으로 질산암모늄 비료를 실은 화차와 유조차를 갈이하던 중 부주의로 인해 전기선에 접촉, 폭발사고가 발생해 막대한 피해가 났다고 밝혔고 이를 근거로 국내 전문가들의 분석도 나왔다.She said: "They were trying to disconnect the carriages and link them up to another train. They got caught in the overhead electric wiring, the dynamite exploded and that was the cause of the explosion.''
China's Xinhua News Agency said the blast was caused by ammonium nitrate - a chemical used in fertilisers - leaking from one train. Russia's Itar-Tass news agency reported from Pyongyang that the explosion was caused by gunpowder intended for use in an irrigation canal.
원인이 어찌되었던 어려운 경제로 고통을 받는 상황에서 이런 참사가 발생한 것에 대해 같은 민족으로서 가슴 아픈 일이 아닐 수 없다. 빠른 복구를 위한 지원이 필요할 때이다.

이런 시기에 대통령이 선두해서 도움을 주지 못하고,
대행이 할 수 있는 선이 어디까지 인지도 명확하지 않을 텐데...ㅡ.ㅡ;;
이런 때에 많은 도움을 주어 북한과의 관계를 회복하여 통일로 앞당길 기회로 삼아야 하는데...라는 안타까움으로 ....
